Swaps to Live by #5 – Nutrient rich carbs over empty ones

Carbohydrates full of vitamins and minerals over empty over processed carbs (think sugar and breads)

Most carb heavy recipes can be easily swapped out for one based on nutrient rich foods. Try to aim for cauliflower, potatoes, sweet potatoes or yams over your breads, crackers and rices.
