Healthy Meal of the Day: Coconut Flour Spiced Pork Chops

Paleo, Grain/Glutten Free, Dairy Free



Breading Options (breads about 4 chops)
4 Tbs Coconut Flour
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Pepper
1 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder

Good add ins
Pinch of Mustard Powder
1/2 tsp Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Basil

Or just do…

1 tsp lemon pepper

Oils to be used
Coconut oil 3/4
Some butter 1/4
the amount used depends on the size of your pan just keep those approximate ratios

The butter is what will give the breading that nice golden brown color but you can omit it if you like



Mix all breading ingredients together in a shallow bowl. Place meat in breading. Flip and gently shake off excess. Place aside for frying.

Put the oils in your pan on about medium heat. Wait until the butter begins to froth and slide in your breaded chop. Cook for about 3-5 min on each side depending on thickness adding in more oil as needed.
